Barcelona Walking Tour: Sagrada Familia, Gaudi and Gothic Quarter

حول هذا النشاط

Three eras of Barcelona in three hours, on foot, from the Sagrada Família to the Modernist elegance of Passeig de Gràcia and into the Roman and medieval layers of the Gothic Quarter. Roots & Roads is a team of guides born and raised in Barcelona. We did not learn this city from a book, we grew up on these streets. Our goal is simple: not just to show you the city, but to help you understand it, from its history to how it feels to live here today. This is not a list of monuments but one coherent story connecting architecture, culture and everyday life. Along the way we share local insight and practical recommendations. Major monuments are explained from the outside. Some locations may be briefly visited inside when there is no entrance fee.

    11. Barcelona Cathedral

In the Old Town, the Cathedral anchors the medieval city. We focus on the contrast between the 13th-century Gothic church and its later neo-Gothic facade from the end of the 19th-century.
