   The Accademia Gallery in Florence, once a part of the fine arts academy, traces its origins back to 1784, founded by Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo. Initially hosting gypsum models by Giambologna, it evolved with an impressive collection of original and replicated artworks, enriched further by Gothic and Renaissance paintings from abolished churches and convents. Selected as Michelangelo's David new home in 1873, the gallery's relocation was prompted by safety concerns in Signoria Square. Over the years, additional Michelangelo masterpieces like the Prisoners, St. Matthew, and Pieta found a home, transforming the Accademia into an unofficial Michelangelo museum. • If the time you choose is not available, you will be transferred to another time on the same day. These changes do not depend on us. Therefore by booking you are aware of this possible change and therefore we warn you so not to have complaints later, or requests for refunds, which will not be taken into consideration. Example: If you choose the 10:00 am time slot and the Accademia ticket office closes at that time you will be moved to the first available slot, 12:00 pm, 13:00 pm, 14:00 pm or 15:00 pm.
• Timed Entry Ticket, means you'll be in the fast line, not that you won't have anyone in front of you.
• It is advisable not to book tours on the same day, with close times
• Please leave a Whatsapp number where you will be contacted by our support once you have booked the tour with us.
• Important notice for last minute bookings (on the same day or from one day to the next): in case of lack of places the customer will be placed on the day following the booked date.

• Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Accademia Gallery. Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the attraction.
