   Jerónimos Monastery

   The Jeronimos Monastery is a Portuguese monastery of the Order of St. Jerome built in the 16th century. High point of Manueline architecture, this monastery is the most remarkable Portuguese monastic ensemble of its time and one of the main parlor churches in Europe.
