We begin at the Royal Courts of Justice, masterpiece of Victorian Gothic architecture and a powerful symbol of 19th-century British justice. We explore the historic Inns of Court, home to barristers for over 600 years. See Temple Church, famous for its links to the Knights Templar, centuries of legal tradition, and Magna Carta, foundation of the rule of law. We also see the Central Criminal Court (The Old Bailey) and learn about some famous cases tried there.       1. We will do the interior of the Royal Courts building (subject to availability on the day).

      2. Largest of the historic Inns of Court, we will walk through the area.

      3. This is the Central Criminal Court. We will see it from the outside and talk about it's history and some famous cases that have been heard there.

      4. We will visit the Inner Temple and Middle Temple and walk through the gardens. We will see Temple Church and may go inside if it's available.

      5. The tour ends at an old historic City of London pub, right next to where we started. A single beer or soft drink per person is included.

      We meet outside the main entrance to the Royal Courts of Justice, on a street called The Strand. It's a large imposing court building. The guide will be holding a sign with the name of the tour written on it.
