Summer solstice (late June) Stonehenge is at its busiest of the year around the summer solstice in late June. If your travel date falls in this period, please read the following before booking. Entry tickets are not included and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are not sold at the gate, and the site sells out. The 75-minute stop included in this transfer may not be enough at this time of year. Queues for the shuttle bus between the visitor centre and the stone circle can be long. Additional time at the site may be subject to an additional fee. English Heritage confirms its solstice arrangements each year closer to the date.
