Join a true bagel expert for an insider’s journey through Midtown, home to some of New York City’s most iconic bagel shops. Along the way, you’ll taste the city’s very best bagels, explore their rich history, and go behind the scenes at a bustling bakery producing thousands of bagels daily. Visit three standout shops, each with its own specialty — from inventive cream cheese flavors to the famous rainbow bagel, and even an award-winning bagel sandwich. Learn how this humble bread became a New York staple and a symbol of the city’s food culture. Tastings are designed so you’ll enjoy plenty of variety: bagels cut into quarters, spreads from classic cream cheese to bold flavors, and New York favorites like bacon, egg & cheese or lox with “the works.” By the end of your tour, you won’t just be full — you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for New York’s bagel tradition and insider tips on where to find the best bagels across the city.
