We designed for you an immersive tour in the Musée d’Orsay where you’ll discover the museum’s evolution from a rail station to a fine arts museum a few decades ago. The collections of the museum showcase several masterpieces spanning from the mid-19th to the beginning of 20th centuries. Your guide will lead you through one of the most impressive impressionist and post-impressionist collections in the world. Delve into the works of realist artists like Manet, who paved the way for the impressionists, such as Degas, Pissarro, Renoir, and Monet. You’ll have the chance to admire works of Cézanne, Van Gogh, Gauguin and Matisse. Your expert guide will tell you about the techniques employed and shed light on the influences that various artistic movements had on eachother up until the modern art movement.
We propose to you the most efficient way to discover the masterpieces of the Orsay Museum such as paintings from Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh and offer the possibility to continue your visit with the information you get from your expert guide.
