The City was once called Aqaue Sulis, and shares both Roman and Celtic origins. This magnificent museum will make your jaw drop when you see how well kept the 2000 year old floor looks today. Aside from the temple, Bath offers magnificent shops and architecture from the 18th Century when it was entirely reinvented as a Spa Town. The Queen Square, Circus and Royal Crescent are but justs a few of the magnificent designs of John Wood.
