   Your Private Guide will accompany you as you travel to Santa Severa, a small sea resort on the Via Aurelia. Here, you will visit the historic Castello di Santa Severa, which has served as a military stronghold, a resting spot for popes and Roman dignitaries, and even as a Nazi storage building.

   With skip-the-line tickets you will enjoy priority admission to the monumental complex, including the Museum of the Sea and Ancient Navigation, the Castle Museum, and the Museum of the Territory. You can go back over the Etruscan history of Pyrgi, learn about maritime history and ancient navigation!

   Another highlight of this tour will be a visit to Civitavecchia, where you can see the main port of the Lazio region and stroll around the promenade of Piazza della Vita by Fortezza Michelangelo. There will be free time for lunch and souvenir shopping, and we will drop you off at your accommodation in Rome.

Some attractions, museums and exhibitions may be temporarily closed.
• We will arrange private transfers in a standard car (sedan) for groups of 1-4 people, and in a larger van or minibus for groups of 5 people and more. If you're traveling in a smaller group but want to travel in a more spacious car, we recommend booking a 5-people tour to take advantage of a larger vehicle.
• For the convenience of all guests, it is best to have 1 licensed guide per maximum of 25 guests. If there are 26-50 people in your group, we will provide the service of 2 licensed guides so that all guests can get the best experience, ask questions and hear the guide well.
