Entrance Point is Vatican Museums entrance – Viale Vaticano, 00192 This is a self-guided service, so there are no meeting point and no need to meet a member of our staff. You should proceed independently to Gate with your tickets and ID documents. Entrance Procedure • Please arrive at Gate at the entrance time indicated on your attached ticket. Late arrivals may be considered a no-show by the Vatican Museums. • Vatican City is an independent state, separate from Italy. When entering the Vatican Museums, you are crossing from Italian territory into Vatican jurisdiction. • At Gate , show the QR code on your attached entrance ticket together with a valid ID/passport for each participant. • After entering, you will pass through the Vatican security check and metal detectors. Bags and metal objects must be placed through the security scanner. • Once you have completed the entrance procedure, you can independently begin exploring the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Important Vatican Rules • Valid ID/passport is required for every participant. • Dress code: shoulders and knees must be covered. • Large bags, suitcases, glass containers and other prohibited items are not permitted inside the Museums. • Please make sure your phone is sufficiently charged and that you have your entrance QR codes ready before arriving at Gate 1.
