   Brompton Cemetery

   Brompton Cemetery is the dramatic final stop on the tour, featuring prominently in The Wages of Sin with key scenes at the chapel, colonnades and Grand Circle, plus views toward Stamford Bridge. Opened in 1840 and one of London’s “Magnificent Seven,” it’s the only cemetery managed by the Royal Parks and the resting place of notable figures—including Emmeline Pankhurst—making it as rich in history as it is on-screen intrigue.

   Chelsea Embankment features repeatedly across The Chelsea Detective, from the former International School of Chelsea at 1 Chelsea Embankment (Shelley House) to dramatic scenes around Albert Bridge, its underpasses and the Thames foreshore. This stretch of the river blends striking TV moments with rich real history—mudlarking by Battersea Bridge, emotional character revelations on Cheyne Row, and Max’s iconic houseboat moored among Chelsea’s famous floating homes.
