   The Sistine Chapel

   The Sistine Chapel is a chapel in the Apostolic Palace, the official residence of the pope, in Vatican City. Originally known as the Cappella Magna, the chapel takes its name from Pope Sixtus IV, who restored it between 1477 and 1480.

   St. Peter's Basilica

   From the Sistine Chapel we will go directly into the St. Peter’s Basilica by using a special access and therefore skipping once again the long lines. Our guided tour continues inside the world’s most amazing and decorated church, where you will be amazed by Michelangelo’s  famous Pieta. Then, standing in awe under the massive dome and gazing upon Bernini’s celebrated canopy, you will  learn about  the Basilica’s many secrets and stories.

• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
• It is recommended you wear comfortable walking shoes and if rain is forecast, bring a small umbrella as well. Large umbrellas, large bags, and selfie sticks will not be allowed into the museums.
• The wheelchair itinerary is different from the regular itinerary. We will visit some special rooms and of course the Sistine Chapel. In the wheelchair itinerary, Saint Peter’s Basilica is not accessible. The tour will be extended in the Vatican Museums
• N.B. DUE TO THE HOLY JUBILEE YEAR IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GUARANTEE ACCESS TO ST. PETER'S. IN THESE CASES THE TOUR WILL EXTEND INTO THE MUSEUMS
• N.B. Power banks are NOT permitted to enter the Vatican Museums, so we ask you not to bring them with you during your visit.
