Located in the heart of the capital opposite Apsley House, Wellington Arch is one of London’s most iconic monuments. It commemorates the wartime sacrifice of over 49,000 artillerymen, remembered by the nearby Royal Artillery Memorial. It highlights the story of Gunner Stone, VC, and includes artefacts from the Ypres battlefields. On the top two floors you can enjoy changing displays of contemporary art from the Vigo Gallery.
