Step into the Golden House (Domus Aurea), the grandiose Palace of one of the most famous Rome’s emperors. Thanks to ongoing archaeological restoration and an immersive Virtual Reality experience, you’ll discover the hidden world of Nero’s Palace, rich of beautiful ancient frescoes and incredible chambers. This immense palace was built after the Great Fire of Rome in AD 64. After Nero’s death, it was partially destroyed and then, it lay buried underground for centuries, forgotten and preserved, until its rediscovery during the Renaissance. It became immediately a source of inspiration for great artists like Raphael and Michelangelo. During this Virtual Reality experience you’ll be transported back in time through new technology and immersive 3d video narration providing you visual insights into how Emperor Nero's golden palace looked 2,000 years ago. The final result will be a true time travel, a sort of cognitive and emotional short circuit.
