For cheese lovers, this tour is the perfect way to enjoy Amsterdam. Begin with a 2.5-hour walking tour through the historic streets of the city center, guided by an expert who reveals how a small muddy village on the Amstel grew into Europe’s leading trading hub. The experience continues with a 1-hour cheese tasting at the prestigious Old Amsterdam shop, where you’ll sample five varieties of Gouda paired with carefully selected wines. We always aim to schedule the tasting at 1:30 pm, but in some cases, it may take place later.
