This underground tour of the Catacombs takes you deep into the hidden history of Rome, far below its busy streets and monuments, revealing the city’s most mysterious side. The itinerary includes some of the most unique sites of the Eternal City. A panoramic open-top bus will transfer you from the city center to the Roman Catacombs. This vast network of tunnels once served as both a burial ground and a place of worship for the first Christians in Rome. Accompanied by an expert guide, you will explore these sacred sites and uncover their remarkable history. Depending on the option selected, the experience can be enriched with a guided visit to the Capuchin Crypts or a guided underground tour of the Trevi Fountain District. You can also enhance your experience with an optional 1-hour panoramic golf cart round through the center of Rome, enjoying a comfortable ride while admiring the city’s most iconic landmarks.
