Founded and preserved in memory of events, namely the apparitions of Our Lady to the three little shepherds, Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta, in 1917, is known worldwide, and one of the most important sanctuaries in the world of the Catholic Church. This magical place receives about six million visitors each year.
