   The Jheronimus Bosch Art Center is a tribute to Den Bosch’s most famous resident, Jheronimus Bosch (c. 1450–1516). The museum is housed in the former St. James’ Church, a Neo-Romanesque church dating from 1907. The building itself is already worth a visit, with its high vaulted ceilings, colourful stained-glass windows and impressive tower.

   Admission to the museum is not included, as this experience only includes an exterior visit of the museum. Travelers will view the site from the outside and will not enter the museum during the tour.

   De Moriaan

   De Moriaan is one of the most remarkable and historic buildings on the Markt in Den Bosch and is often referred to as the oldest brick house in the Netherlands. The monumental building dates back to the early 13th century, making it one of the oldest surviving urban buildings in the country. The striking corner building, with its stepped gable and small round tower, has been a landmark in the heart of the city for centuries.

   De Parade

   De Parade is the most famous square in Den Bosch and, together with the impressive St. John’s Cathedral, forms the historic heart of the city. Today, the square is known for its lively outdoor terraces, restaurants and the Theater aan de Parade, but centuries ago, this place looked very different.

   The Design Museum Den Bosch is a modern, internationally oriented museum dedicated entirely to the role of design in everyday life. The museum is located directly next to the Noordbrabants Museum and together they form the cultural heart of the so-called Museum Quarter in the historic city centre of Den Bosch.

   Admission to the museum is not included, as this experience only includes an exterior visit of the museum. Travelers will view the site from the outside and will not enter the museum during the tour.

   St. John’s Cathedral

   St. John’s Cathedral is the symbol of Den Bosch and a true highlight of the city. It is considered one of the finest Gothic churches in the Netherlands. Construction began around 1220 and took almost 300 years to complete. As a result, the building features several architectural styles, although the impressive Brabantine Gothic style clearly dominates. With its richly decorated façades, soaring vaults and almost 100-metre-high tower, St. John’s Cathedral has been the face of the city for centuries.

   In the heart of Den Bosch’s historic city centre

   In the heart of Den Bosch’s historic city centre lies the Jeroen Bosch Garden, a peaceful green oasis that many visitors unknowingly pass by. The garden is located behind the former St. Joseph’s Church and was originally the monastery garden of the Redemptorist Fathers, who lived here between 1855 and 1971. Today, it is a public city garden where visitors can take a stroll, relax or simply enjoy the peace and quiet in the middle of the bustling city centre.

   The Noordbrabants Museum is the most important art and history museum in North Brabant and is housed in a beautiful 18th-century government palace. The monumental palace rooms create a striking contrast with the modern museum wings, making the building itself well worth a visit.
