You'll also get the crash course in how Prague works — where to eat tomorrow, what to skip, which neighborhoods matter, how to order beer without looking like a tourist. We will meet at the entrance of the Municipal House. This Art Nouveau building was opened in 1912 and deemed a building “built by Czechs, for Czechs”. It houses the famous Smetana Concert Hall as well as a number of wonderful restaurants and wine bars. Most importantly it was the location of Czechoslovakia’s declaration of Independence.
Meet your guide in front of the main entrance to the MUNICIPAL HOUSE (OBECNÍ DŮM) at Namesti Republiky 3/4 – across the street from Hybernia Theatre, right under the huge balcony. They'll have a "PRAGUE CITY ADVENTURES" sign.
