This guided walking tour will lead you from the charming and lively Piazza della Repubblica to the lovely Santa Maria Novella's church, offering a deeper understanding of Florence’s history, culture, and gastronomy. Your adventure begins in Piazza della Repubblica, once the site of the Roman Forum, which then became the center of the city's social and political life, with many cafes and shops that were popular with intellectuals, artists, and politicians. Along the way, you will have three delightful tastings, including two traditional snacks, one savoury and one sweet. We will stroll through the heart of Florence's old town, discovering stories and hidden corners. As our tour comes to an end, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation of Florentine culture, history, and gastronomy.
