Several prominent figures from Ottoman history are buried in the Suleymaniye Mosque, including Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and his wife Hurrem Sultan.

The reason of named women baazar is because the poor women of the city would collect the vegetables and fruits that could not be sold to the rich people and were thrown away by the tradesmen, and sell them in the small stalls They opened next to the market.
