Notting Hill Walking Tour

Bu etkinlik hakkında

Welcome to Notting Hill—a place where pastel-painted houses, eclectic markets, and cultural legends come together to create one of London’s most photographed districts. On this immersive walking tour, you’ll not only see the famous sights—you’ll feel the history woven into every street. Your journey begins on Portobello Road, home to the world-renowned market that has been trading antiques, curiosities, and street foods since the 19th century. As you wander through its energetic stalls, your expert guide reveals how this once rural lane evolved into a global treasure trove thanks to waves of migration, Caribbean heritage, and the rise of London’s bohemian scene. You’ll spot filming locations from Notting Hill, hear stories of the area’s artistic revolution in the 1960s, and learn how the neighbourhood became the birthplace of the legendary Notting Hill Carnival—Europe’s largest street festival and a vibrant celebration of Caribbean culture.
