   At Nieuwmarkt square, we pause at the historic Waag building — once a city gate, then a weigh house, and later a place for public dissections. You'll hear about Rembrandt’s connection to this spot and the hidden layers beneath its surface.

   Rembrandt House Museum

   We stop outside the historic house where Rembrandt lived and worked during the height of his career.
