In this tour we will go from prehistoric history to today. First we will begin by witnessing the "Stonehenge Portuguese". We will visit 3 areas composed of stones, menires and a dolmen. The Cromeleque of the Almendres
The Cromeleque of the Almendres is a reflection of gigantic proportions of the age of pagan enchantment, known like New Age of the Stone. Built towards sunrise and sunset, this megalithic enclosure is located on a gentle slope on the property of Almendres. A place that could very well represent the Alentejo. Formed by two distinct enclosures, built between the end of the sixth and third millennium BC, this cromlech is one of the largest and most important megalithic monuments in the world. It is much older than the famous Stonehenge.
