I will share the fascinating story of how Venice was built, explain the importance of its historic wellheads, and reveal why water and salt have always been both the city's greatest challenge and the very essence of its existence. We'll visit some of Venice's most beautiful and lesser-known churches, where works of art are waiting to be discovered. We will reach the northern edge of the city, where we'll enjoy stunning views of the island cemetery of San Michele and Murano. You'll discover how Venice has adapted over the centuries, reinventing itself to meet the needs of its people while preserving its unique character. This walk will offer a deeper understanding of one of the world's most extraordinary cities. I'll be delighted to answer your questions and show you how Venice is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but also resilient.

      From Piazzale Roma or Ferrovia stop take the public transportation vaporetto number 1 direction Lido and get off at Ca D'oro. From there, turn right and walk straight ahead for a couple of minutes. The meeting point will be on your right. I will meet you nearby the well head.
