Situated in the heart of Tomar's historic center, the Republic Square has been a central hub of the city for centuries, reflecting Tomar's rich history as a stronghold of the Knights Templar and later as a significant Renaissance city. Located adjacent to the square, visit the Church of São João Baptista, exemplifying Manueline architecture.
