It is here that Van Gogh stayed in Auvers-sur-Oise, and it is also here that he passed away, in a modest room. You will be moved by the last portrait painted by Van Gogh: that of Adeline Ravoux, the daughter of the innkeeper. Vincent will then share with you his obsession with portraiture and self-portraiture.

   Over the village, lies the wheatfield that inspired Van Gogh's Wheatfield with Crows. You will walk through it following Van Gogh and hear about his suicide attempt and how he committed suicide in this field (and failed).
