The Amphiteatrum Flavium, the original Latin name of the Colosseum, was built in 72 A.D. by the Emperor Vespasian, and could host over 50,000 spectators. It was used for public spectacles, animal hunts, executions, dramas and gladiators’battles. Brave gladiators fought against ferocious animals to delight the Emperor and the Roman citizens, but their only real aim was to regain their freedom!

   Roman Forum

   Continue you tour stroll along the ancient Roman streets in the Roman Forum: the centre of the ancient Roman life! See the magnificence of the Roman arches, temples and palaces. You will hear about Costantine, Titus, Julius Caesar, and other great emperors of Rome while admiring the Triumphal Arches and Emperor’s Palace.

   Roman Forum

   Your passionate and knowledgeble guide will involve your children and all the families in contests and games while showing you the places where trials, religious cerimonies and trade took place. You wil see the House of the Vestal Virgin, the Temples of Julius Caesar and Saturn, the Senate House, the Arches of Titus and Costantine, and many other buildings. Your children will love it!
