The town is renowned for its white Vernaccia di San Gimignano wine and certainly not to miss is a visit to the Gelateria di Piazza, where Sergio Dondoli creates award- winning gelato with flavours including Vernaccia wine sorbet!

   Siena Cathedral

   Don't miss this incredible gothic black and white marbled cathedral (1136-1382) with its stunning marble-inlaid floor and filled with filled with treasures by Pisano, Donatello and Michelangelo as well as frescoes by Pinturicchio.
