Graffiti and Street Art in Lower Manhattan

活动介绍

Explore the raw, colorful, and controversial world of graffiti and street art with our expertly guided walking tour. From a hidden alleyway to iconic walls, this tour takes you into the heart of Manhattan’s Lower East Side and SoHo, two neighborhoods that have played a pivotal role in the global evolution of street art and American art in general. Discover the Hidden Side of Manhattan! While New York is known for its towering skyscrapers and world-class museums, there’s another canvas that has long shaped its creative landscape: city’s walls, fences, doors, and rooftops. Our Graffiti and Street Art Tour reveals this lesser-known dimension of the city, where unfiltered creativity collides with politics, protest, and personal expression. We’ll take you to backstreets, hidden corners, and lesser-known alleys where graffiti artists and street muralists still leave their marks. We’ll discuss both legendary tags from the 1970s and fresh, ever-changing artwork sprayed just days before.
