• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
• Dress code is smart casual. Bring a sweater to wear in the underground area as it can get cold
• Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
• Strollers are allowed, but not recommended, as stairs are steep and the ground is uneven. Children must be carried by an adult or be able to walk
• It is recommended that you bring a hat and sunscreen: Please note that sprays of any kind are not allowed inside the Colosseum.
• For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened. All objects (including mobile phones) must be put in a bag/backpack or in the tray for X-ray screening
• Large backpacks, camping equipment, bulky bags, luggage and trolleys are not allowed. Medium and small size backpacks must be checked, as any other bag, with metal detectors, opened and visually inspected by security
• Please notice that the Administration of the site, which depends on the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities has the faculty to close the Colosseum, or parts of it, with or without notice, for events, strikes, heavy rain, or any other reason. In which case, we will offer an alternative itinerary as it seems fit .
• Bring a jumper/sweater to keep yourself warm, the temperature inside the Domus Aurea is around 63 F // 16 C
• It will be possible to stop to use the restroom along the way, as needed
• Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

• • Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start time indicated on your voucher. Start time indicates the time your tour begins; please be there 15 minutes before to check-in with your guide. • This tour is only available in English. • Please carry a valid form of ID with you. • Visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point. Please expect to wait 10-15 minutes to clear security. • This tour does not accommodate wheelchair or people with limited mobility. • Strollers are allowed, but not recommended, as stairs are steep and the ground is uneven. It is possible to bring in empty, refillable bottles, as the water springing from the fountains on the path is drinkable • This is an intense 5-hour walking tour as the areas to cover are large. On the way there are vending machines where people can buy drinks and quick snacks to eat. There will be break for a quick snack and stop to use the restroom • For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened.
