   Reza Rahmanian served as the outside architect on the building's design by WATG Architects. The hotel's layout blends contemporary design and construction techniques with Islamic architectural principles like hierarchy, balance, geometry, proportion, and proportionality. 114 smaller domes are dispersed around the structure, while the centre dome is decorated with intricate geometric patterns. The various tones of sand that may be seen in the Arabian Desert served as inspiration for the building's colour.

Among the items on display are painstakingly hand-woven pictorial and bejewelled carpets, silk textiles and royal robes, jewellery, ceremonial objects covered in jewels, expertly crafted weapons, marble objects, vases with Arabic calligraphy engraved on them, and miniature paintings.
