Inside the imposing walls are large courtyards and from the walls you have a great view over Windsor and beyond. The real treasures are inside of course and you will see more paintings, weapons, works of art and gold leaf than you could imagine in the state and semi-state rooms. Parts of it are surprisingly cosy but their are epic banquet halls and audience chambers too. You can also get a better look at the the Guardsmen here than at Buckingham Palace.
