   Visit St John Lateran, the Cathedral of Rome and Mother and Head of all churches. Venerate the reliquaries of the heads of Sts Peter and Paul and part of the table traditionally associated with the Last Supper. See the Holy Door, opened during Jubilee years and anticipated to open again for the Jubilee of Redemption in 2033.

   Holy Stairs

   Visit the Pontifical Sanctuary of the Holy Stairs and learn the tradition that the steps were brought from Pontius Pilate’s praetorium in Jerusalem. Glimpse the Sancta Sanctorum and the revered image of Christ said to have been begun by St Luke and completed by angels. Pilgrims may climb the Holy Stairs on their knees independently after the tour.
