Make sure the phone is fully charged before starting. Bringing a power bank is strongly recommended. Starting Location The game begins at De Oude Kerk in Amsterdam. Make sure your team is at this location before starting the quiz. Parking Recommendation We recommend parking at Q-Park Bijenkorf, which is a short walk from the starting location. Choose Your Own Route After the first task, various locations will appear on the map. You can visit them in any order. Tap an icon and then "navigate" to open Google Maps for directions. Hints After each correct answer, you’ll receive a hint. Write them down—they are essential for solving the final puzzle. Goal The objective is to collect hints and use them to crack a 4-digit code (the pirate’s birth year) to unlock the treasure. Treasure Chest You can try opening the treasure at any time. If the code is wrong, simply try again. For other tasks, a wrong answer results in a 3-minute wait. Photo & Scan Tasks Only tap the “scan” button when you have found the object required. Results At the end, you can view your score and any photos taken in the app. Tap the menu icon (three lines in the top left), then select “results”. Access Codes & App Download After your booking, you will receive a personal message with the instructions and your unique login code for the app needed to play the game.
