In this private Barcelona cooking class, food is more than just a meal. You’ll learn from a skilled local chef who is passionate about sharing authentic Catalan recipes and the stories behind them, and you’ll be supporting a local nonprofit at the same time. With a chef guiding you through each step, you’ll prepare three Catalan favorites: fresh gazpacho, traditional paella (with meat or vegetarian), and silky crema catalana. Along the way, you’ll use seasonal, sustainable ingredients, hear the stories behind the traditions, and learn tips you can take home. Your class also supports Mescladís’ mission to provide people from marginalized communities, such as refugees, free hands-on training that opens doors to careers in hospitality. After cooking, sit down to enjoy the meal you just made with a refreshing drink of your choice, such as wine, beer, or non-alcoholic options like seltzer, soda, and juice. It's a heartwarming, unforgettable taste of Barcelona’s culture and spirit.
