   Priority entry again. You start with the Prigioni, Michelangelo's unfinished Slaves still half-trapped in the marble, before reaching the David itself. Your guide points out the details most visitors miss: the swollen veins in the hand, the furrowed brow, and why a giant nude teenager became the emblem of the Florentine Republic.

Meet your guide beside the statue of Leonardo da Vinci, in the colonnade of the Uffizi courtyard (Piazzale degli Uffizi), between Piazza della Signoria and the Arno. Your guide holds a sign with the company name. Please arrive 10 minutes early: museum entry is timed.

The meeting point is inside the courtyard, near the Leonardo da Vinci statue. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour starts, as the group must enter together and late arrivals may not be able to join the tour.
