   Vatican Museums

   Our local guides will share the stories contained within the museum walls, the life of the Popes and the many works of art displayed there. Our tour begins at the entrance to the Museums, where your guide will take you to the oldest part of the Museums, where you will visit the collection of Roman classics and Greek art, the richest in the world. In the Belvedere courtyard your guide will show you the beautiful statues of Apollo, Laocoon and the Apoxyomenos of Lysippos. Your tour will continue to the Hall of Animals, the Gallery of Chandeliers, the Gallery of Tapestries and through the Gallery of Maps and many other treasures.

   Sistine Chapel

   A narrow passage will take you to the Borgia Apartments and the stunning Sistine Chapel with its magnificent frescoes by Michelangelo, Botticelli and Ghirlandaio. Enjoy the famous Creation of Adam by Michelangelo with your own eyes as you explore the Sistine Chapel.

   St. Peter's Basilica

   After the Vatican Museums, you will visit the most important church of the Catholic faith: St. Peter's Basilica. Appreciate the impressive work of Gian Lorenzo Bernini in St. Peter's Square, discover the masterpieces inside the Basilica, including the “Pietà” by Michelangelo and see the Residence of the Pope and the chimney where the white smoke comes out when the popes are elected. Your local Vatican-licensed guide will make your visit to Vatican City a special and unforgettable experience.

• A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
• Food and drinks are not allowed in the museums except for bottled water
• Mobile or paper ticket accepted
• One per booking
• The security check applies to everyone, even customers with pre-paid "skip the line" tickets. Observations: Large suitcases, bags and backpacks are not allowed on the tour.
