   Enjoy the most exclusive areas of the Colosseum, where most visitors cannot access: the COLOSSEUM ARENA FLOOR. It was the central sand-covered wooden platform where the fights took place (‘arena’ was the Latin word for ‘sand’). You will access through the special Gladiator's Gate of Death, where dead gladiators and animals were once carried away. Have your camera ready to take amazing pictures on the Colosseum: from the Arena floor you will have a 360-degree views of the Colosseum. After visiting the Arena floor, the tour will continue on the first and second tiers of the Colosseum.
