   Charles Bridge

   What else to say? The legendary Charles Bridge! Built by Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV., finished in 15th century, complemended by two rows of statues of saints in 17th century. The bridge replaced the old Judith Bridge built 1158–1172 that had been badly damaged by a flood in 1342. This new bridge was originally called Stone Bridge or Prague Bridge but has been referred to as "Charles Bridge" since 1870.

   Old Opera house, the house of the Czech Philharmonic and a memorial to some dark parts of Czech history. Built right next to the riverside and today's Mánes Bridge.
