Die katalanische Gastronomie ist dank Ferran Adria, Carme Ruscadella und den Roca Brothers weltberühmt. Sie hat sich von der einfachen Marktküche zu kreativen Tapas mit immer neuen Geschmackserlebnissen und Aromen entwickelt. Während dieses kulinarischen Rundgangs durch Barcelonas zentrales, aber authentisches Viertel El Born zeigen wir „Die Entwicklung der katalanischen Küche“ von ihren bescheidenen (aber köstlichen) Anfängen bis hin zu den modernen Gerichten, die die Starköche der Region berühmt gemacht haben. Wir beginnen mit einem Rundgang über den wunderbaren Lebensmittelmarkt Santa Caterina. Als nächstes besuchen wir eine Pintxos-Bar im traditionellen baskischen Stil, um die immense Vielfalt der nordspanischen Küche zu probieren. Anschließend begeben wir uns in eine lebhafte Taverne und haben die Möglichkeit, aus einem spanischen Porrongefäß zu trinken. Gibt es schließlich eine bessere Möglichkeit, eine kulinarische Tour abzurunden, als in einer Bodega, um die klassische Küche zu probieren, die die Katalanen seit Generationen genießen?
