   Colosseum

   Following your expert guide, hear stories of gladiators, naval combats, and games, as well as the people who watched them in the Colosseum. From emperor to plebian, everyone visited this amphitheater, and now you can step inside to experience its history firsthand. Your guide will bring the site to life with engaging storytelling. Please note: the tour may start at the Colosseum or the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill, depending on the ticket times we are able to purchase.

   Palatine Hill

   Explore the ruins of the Imperial Palace, home to Rome’s emperors for about 360 years. Walk among the extensive ruins of the palace as you learn about the luxuries available to the emperors and the architecture and engineering of one of the world’s earliest imperial residences.

   Roman Forum

   Explore the political, social, and commercial heart of ancient Rome. Walk along the original Roman roads, the Via Sacra and Via Nova, and see arches, temples, and other ruins. While much of the Forum is in ruins today, your expert guide will provide historical context and help you understand its former significance in Roman life.

Treffpunkt

Your guide will be waiting at Largo Gaetana Agnesi, just above the Colosseo Metro station, holding a yellow Carpe Diem Tours flag or sign. Use Google Maps to find the meeting point. If you're near the Colosseum, enter the metro station and take the stairs up.
