Today you will be making your way from Istanbul onto one of the most famous regions in Turkey – Cappadocia. You will be collected from your Istanbul accommodation and transferred out to the airport to meet your flight. On your arrival into Cappadocia you will be transferred directly onto your accommodation.

For those who are interested in the optional excursion of Hot Air Ballooning, you will be given the chance to do this before sunrise this morning and be back in enough time to join the tour. The huge phallic formations of Love Valley have been formed naturally thanks to erosion of the volcanic rock, approximately 9 to 3 million years ago. Some formations are up to 40 meters high ! Today one of the other major highlights is your visit into the Underground City. These cities were dug out for the fleeing Christians to hide from persecution. They are well crafted to house not only themselves, but also livestock and store all their food, wine and water. You will marvel at the engineering of these ancient times. After being underground it will be time to enjoy the wide open spaces with a short stroll through Meskendir Valley.
