Enter the Accademia Gallery and come face to face with Michelangelo’s David, one of the world’s most iconic masterpieces. Before entering, one of your guides will escort you inside and provide a brief 10-minute introduction to David and Michelangelo’s other works in the museum. Continue through the Hall of the Prisoners to discover Michelangelo’s famous unfinished sculptures and explore another fascinating side of his artistic journey. Explore the museum’s main sections, including the Hall of the Colossus, the Tribune of David, the Gipsoteca, the galleries dedicated to Medieval and Renaissance art (featuring works by Giotto and his followers, Giovanni da Milano, and the Orcagna brothers), and the Museum of Musical Instruments.
