Das ist keine Gruppentour mit Fremden. Es ist Ihre Gruppe, Ihr Fortgeschrittener und für die letzte Stunde ein Boot, das nur Ihnen gehört. Wir sind ein kleines unabhängiges Unternehmen aus Amsterdam. Ihre Guides wohnen hier und bringen Sie zu den Geschäften und Cafés, die sie selbst nutzen, nicht zu den Orten mit einer Fotokarte draußen. Die Foodtour findet seit 2015 statt und das Bootsfinale ist der Abschluss, nach dem die Gäste immer wieder fragen. Sie spazieren durch das alte Zentrum, die 9 Little Streets und den Jordaan, probieren 10 Mal auf dem Weg und beenden dann auf einem überdachten, beheizten Salonboot durch den UNESCO-Kanalring mit einem kalten Getränk in der Hand. Ein separater Kapitän fährt, damit Ihr Fortgeschrittener die Geschichten auf Wasserniveau hält. Toilette an Bord, und die Kreuzfahrt läuft Regen oder Sonnenschein. Etwa drei Stunden zu Fuß, eine Stunde auf dem Wasser und nirgendwo Eile. Sagen Sie uns, was Ihnen gefällt und Ihr Fortgeschrittener gestaltet den Tag um ihn herum.

    1. De Bijenkorf

      The tour starts inside this cheese and wine shop. Taste aged Dutch farm cheese cut fresh from the wheel and meet your private guide over the first bites of the day. Arrive 10 minutes early and you may grab a toothpick and taste some cheeses at the front of the store.

    2. Old Amsterdam at its best: a square with a book market, brown cafes and our favorite fishmonger. Time for Dutch sashimi, fresh North Sea herring, and the story of how a little fish built this city.

    3. Herengracht

      Walk the Gentlemen's Canal, the grandest stretch of the UNESCO canal ring. Golden Age mansions built on trade money, canal house stories from your guide, and a tasting at one of our handpicked local spots along the way.

    4. Royal Palace Amsterdam

      Cross Dam Square past the Royal Palace, once the city hall of the richest city on earth. Your guide packs 750 years of Amsterdam into the walk, warm stroopwafel in hand.

    5. Nine narrow shopping streets crossing the prettiest canals, full of independent boutiques. Photo stop territory, plus another tasting from a local spot most visitors walk straight past.

    6. Jordaan

      Amsterdam's most loved neighborhood, built for workers, now home to hidden courtyards and corner cafes. Warm bitterballen with sharp mustard and the stories of the families who ran these streets.

    7. Anne Frank House

      The walking route ends a short stroll from the Anne Frank House. We do not go inside, but your guide shares the story and practical tips if you plan to visit after the tour.

    8. Amsterdam Canal Ring

      The finale: a private 1 hour cruise through the UNESCO canal ring on a covered, heated salon boat. A cold drink is poured before the first bridge, a separate captain drives, and your guide's stories continue at water level. Rain or shine, your group only.

    Meet your guide inside Gastrovino, the cheese and wine shop at Spuistraat 330. Walk in and go down the stairs to the tasting cellar. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time.

    • The boat drops you back at the dock on Herengracht, a short walk from Dam Square, the Jordaan and the Anne Frank House.
