   Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood

   Start your adventures in the old neighborhood of Al Fahidi, which history dates to the end of 19th century.    Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum's House

   Proceed to the traditional center of Dubai, Al Shindagha district. There you will be a guest at the house of Sheikh Saeed al-Maktoum. Witness the residence of the great former ruler of this city and learn about his role in the fascinating transformation of Dubai from rural village into today’s cosmopolitan city. This is also the birthplace of his sons and grandsons, who would later become sheikhs and emirs of Dubai.
