Der Hauptgebetssaal wird von einem der größten Kronleuchter der Welt dominiert. Das Sheikh Zayed Grand ist das achtgrößte der Welt und bietet Platz für 40.000 Pilger auf einmal. Es ist voll von architektonischen Wunderwerken, spektakulären Kronleuchtern und Blumenmosaiken sowie Gold- und Silberartefakten. Ein wunderschöner und riesiger Teppich schmückt den Boden der Moschee. Der Teppich wiegt satte 35 Tonnen und misst 60.570 Quadratfuß. Es ist ein iranischer Teppich und es hat fast zwei Jahre gedauert, ihn zu weben. Sie sprechen auch über die islamische Tradition und Kultur und auch über den verstorbenen Präsidenten, zu dessen Gedenken die Moschee erbaut wurde.
