   Stonehenge

   We arrive at Stonehenge in the quiet county of Wiltshire, a 2 hour journey from Central London. We begin by visiting the education centre to try to understand & answer all our individual questions & theories. Then we travel a short distance by coach up to see the iconic stones which date back 3000 years BC. The coach stops close by & allows us to walk around this ancient monument & try to imagine how life would have been so so long ago. Many pictures & individual theories can be captured here, all year through.

   This is a great stop at lunch time for a British Pub experience. Fish n chips or bangers n mash (along with modern day cuisine too).

   Also, fine Fuller’s beers and ales too .. all at reasonable prices.

   Tour the World Heritage City of Bath.

   Visit the Roman Baths (optional, tickets required) & see the amazing hot spring that has risen in Bath for centuries. Take in the 250 year old beautiful Georgian architecture that is all around you. See how the aristocracy lived their winter holidays during the British Empire days. Take a slow walk around the amazing streets & see why period dramas, from Jane Austin to Bridgerton, have been filmed here.
