The Keukenhof is a flower park in Lisse, 45 minutes from Amsterdam. The park has an area of 32 hectares, and attracts more then 1 million people each year with its millions of flowers. Beside the flowers, the Keukenhof also has exhibitions of special flowers with a new flower each week. Some examples of these themes are roses, orchids, and chrysanthemums. Explore Giethoorn, called the “Little Venice of the Netherlands”. This town is full of thatched-roof farms that are connected by more than 170 wooden bridges. Explore this unique townscape either by sailing a boat yourself or joining a canal cruise. On the water, your guide will share information about the history and culture of Giethoorn. After taking in the sights, you can take a seat in one of the town’s many restaurants for lunch.
It's about 45 minutes driving from Amsterdam to the Keukenhof when you arrived you can enjoy the biggest flower park in Europe, you will walk around and can make some nice photo's. It's also possible to take a boat trip. After that you will brought to Giethoorn that's a 1.5 hour drive.
