Connect Praça dos Restauradores to Praça Marquês de Pombal, crossing one of the noblest areas of the Portuguese capital.    Praça Marquês de Pombal is one of the main landmarks of Lisbon and marks the transition between the city's historic area and the modern Avenida da Liberdade. In the center is the Monument to the Marquis of Pombal, inaugurated in 1934, dedicated to Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo, responsible for the reconstruction of Lisbon after the great earthquake of 1755.
